Concorde At Intrepid

I visited Concorde G-BOAD yesterday at the Intrepid Museum. The aircraft appeared to be in good condition and looked great on a bright fall day. Sadly, once aboard, the memorabilia that used to be aboard, have been removed. No information was given. The aircraft may be closed to visitors for up tp 18 months as nobody is sure where she will stay during construction of a new pier. One Concorde engine can be spotted covered by rags under the delta wing while a second engine is on exhibit inside the museum. The aircraft carrier will soon be closed and be towed to dry dock in Bayonne.
