Last week I did a overnight trip to Chicago, flew AA.
Departed Thurs. at 6AM from LGA flight was about 75-80% full left a few minutes late because of the extra luggage to load but made up most of the time in the air. Took off on 13 to one of the smoothest flights I've ever been on not a bump the entire way. got a small cup of OJ and 2 packs of some kind of cookies. in ORD had luggage on coming out before we got to it.
Flight home caught the 11:55 from ord, left early as flight was only 1/2 full and AA has another flight 1/2 hour later???? took-off to the west and circled back had great view of MDW. again flight was smooth as glass, got the whole can of diet coke and snack mix, flew up the hudson at about 2500 ft to almos the tappen zee bridge then turned down to rwy 22 was sitting on right side had great view of the city
smooth landing and right to the gate.
Saw TSA screeners taking lots of liquids from carry-on's
