A Southwest Airlines flight from Baltimore to Columbus, Ohio, was diverted to Pittsburgh International Airport on Saturday after a passenger went into cardiac arrest and died, airport spokeswoman JoAnn Jenny said.
A woman collapsed on board Flight 2238 yesterday morning, prompting the pilot to land the plane about 11:55 a.m. in Pittsburgh, Southwest spokeswoman Edna Ruano said.

Flight attendants performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and used an automated external defibrillator in failed attempts to revive the woman, Ruano said.

Ruano would not release any other information about the woman.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said it could not release information about the woman until her family was notified.

The plane, which was carrying about 135 people, left Pittsburgh for Columbus about 2:15 p.m., Ruano said.

I flew out from BWI the same morning/time that 733 did, and I actually saw the plane heading to CMH, quite spooky I noticed it then hear about it on the news.

RIP for the woman.

Looks like an Anetter was on board when it happened.
