Sure did, I told you the story about the church group that owns that
in-case of Armageddon right? They would fly away if the **** hit the fan.

I don't think that thing has been in the air for awhile. Would love to see those engines fired up. Where would they fly it in the world started to end?

This is a quote from a friend of mine...

"N777EA is an old Eastern Airlines
DC-7C. The first time I ever visited Phoenix-Goodyear was in 1976, when
my dad was getting his plane worked on there. That plane was parked in
the EXACT place you see it now, and hasn't flown since. It's apparently
gone through a number of owners, and for a long time, was owned by a
church group that was planning to use to escape to wherever they were
planning to go come Armageddon time....or some other crazy plan.
Rumor is it's owned now by a company known as Pyramid Oil. I hopped
on the wing of that thing once about 15 years ago, and looked inside.
Everything in the interior looked pristine. "

He also said that the engines stopped leaking oil in the early 80's....that
is the tale tell sign that the engines are now scrap!
