I beleive it stops in London, I guess this means we'll be seeing less of their 743s and 742s, :(

Hi, My cousin works for PIA at Manchester. From March 26th PIA will operate non stop service to Pakistan from JFK. This is the schedule

PK-717 Karachi-Manchaster-New York (Boeing 742)
PK-727 Karachi-New York
PK-715 Karachi-Lahore-Manchaster-New York (Boeing 742)
PK-723 Karachi-Islamabad-New York
PK-721 Lahore-New York

The non stop sectors shall be done by the new Boeing 777-200 LR's. Also the 777-200LR shall stop at JFK from Seattle tomorrw the 23rd to pick up passengers for its first commercial non stop flight to Pakistan.

You'd rather see a 747-300 than a 777-200LR?

Does the 777-200LR really look any different than other 777s? A couple inches on the tail or something right?

747-3s are cool. :)

AP-BGJ (which I somehow missed on Sunday - maybe on the endcap of T4B?) is a 777-240ER. The first LR is AP-BGY.

I wonder if we have a terrorist-Boeing exchange program with Pakistan. For every few dozen terrorists they give us, we give them a 772LR maybe? Maybe a B1 bomber as reward for finding Osama himself. :D

Mario and Tom,

The 772LR has raked wingtips, as opposed to the regular -200 which doesn't have any wing device at all.

I love those raked wingtips on the -300, and I'd think it would be great to see it on a -200 body. Also, just knowing that advanced technology on the plane makes me want to see it.

The second PIA 777-200LR will make a stop at JFK today on it's was to Karachi on its delivery flight from Boeing Field. So the first visit of a 777-200LR will be tonight.
