Don Knotts Dead

Don Knotts, TV's Barney Fife from the Andy Griffith Show and Mr. Furley from Three's Company is dead.

What a great actor...I loved Mr. Furley. Hopefully he and Jack Tripper are entertaining everyone in heaven right now.l

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Knotts around 1987 when I was a gate supervisor at Piedmont. I was a pretty big spender back then (which is why I am still in debt today) and actually had my own Limo driver as I sometimes rented Limo's for certain occasions (Birthdays, Christmas Parties, Impressing that certain young lady, etc) anyway sometimes when my driver was picking up important clients on PI I would give him a gate pass so he could meet the client at the gate instead of in baggage with all the other drivers which always impressed the client. So one night he came to the counter and asked for me and said Don Knotts is coming in do you wanna go meet him ? I said sure why not and he looked like Mr Furley and was very friendly, got to visit briefly walking out to the Limo then it was back to work ! Jimmy (driver) said he was a big tipper but very quiet !
