Frontier announced today new orders and changes to exisitng orders with Airbus that will add the A-320 to their fleet. I think LGA has an excellent chance of seeing these aircraft but will not be till 2008 !

I like that Frontier takes their time in expanding. Proceeding with a cautious foot is the right way to do things in today's industry. I think Spirit also does this well.

NK and F9 both did the right thing in waiting to see if the market would support expansion. indyair on the other hand... well, enough said.

this is great news. i love seeing the F9 birds at LGA. i miss the 318, but now with the 320 coming into the picture maybe we'll see some variety again...

I think Indy's problem was not that they started off with so many planes, but that the planes they had were not profitable ones (though they already had them anyway before starting up). I feel that though they needed differnet aircrft, the A319s were purchased too early.

More then likely not. The 321 is a poor performer in places like Denver especially during the hot summer months. The combination of high attitude and hot temps make the 321 a dog trying to get off the ground in that environment.

I agree with Tommy, you probably will not see the 321 ordered by F9 due to the hot and high restrictions at DEN, especially with the high denisity configuration that F9 would probably have on the 321.
