I have learned through my friends at Cactuswings that the following HP planes have been, or are in the process of being, repainted. I'm really excited about the third one, although I take issue with some people calling it one of the HP "retro jets". One can hardly call the current HP livery a "retro livery". I think they should have brought back the prior HP livery for the retro jet. Now that would have been awesome.
______
A320 N664AW [1621] returned to Phoenix in new US Airways livery on

A320 N622AW [054] LRF in America West livery was HP596 SLC-PHX
09Jan-2006. Ferried to Macon for painting into new US Airways livery.
A319 N838AW [2615] LRF in America West livery was HP35 MCI-PHX on
09Jan-2006. Ferried to Roswell for painting into US Airways "America
West Heritage" special livery - which retains the basic America West
fuselage and tail colors/logos with US Airways titles. Estimated
return to Phoenix 14Jan-2006 before sunrise.

The moral of the story is that you should photograph HP jets while you can, because they're clearly starting to go away. :(
