You know, I've been takking about how ugly this plane is, but in the Emirates scheme, some of these shots are ****ing gorgeous.

Wow, two different misspellings of the same airline name in one post. Way to go, Phil! :)

I think that Phil was typing with his left hand!

Phil, I saw the A380 up close at the Paris Air show & it is an ugly aircraft, know what colors they use, impressive, but ugly....

Hey! In the cockpit, they have cup holders!

This is one of my favorite photos, gives you an idea of the size of the engines & the winglets....

It does look good in Emirates Colors. Can't be long until she comes to the U.S. Although I'm still not sold on the safety procedures in the event you had to evacuate from the second floor.

I think a slide that long should be at an amusement park....

While I don't feel the A380 will ever look beautiful, I do think it has a bit of character -- perhaps not so different in a way from the old Boeing Stratocruisers.

I look forward to seeing these beasts in a variety of liveries.

Did Air France order any? I can't imagine they'll look good compared to other schemes.
