Sick as a dog and unable to sleep at 3AM, What to do? Grab the laptop and make a quick test video. I tried to keep the pictures going in sync with the music and did lots of fine tuning. I screwed up the end of the song and found that my mp3 ripper did not get a good copy of the song I used! Can anyone help? My son Jack used my cd as a Frisbee!

can anyone help so I can fix it?

Fred,

That was awesome! I was at the show and you really captured the feeling of it. Great work.

P.S. At first I was nervous this topic was about me.

Thanks, not sure if you saw the my learning guide to shooting aircraft.

Here is a reprint
HOW TO ACHIVE GREATNESS in Aviation Photography

Always be early..... if you are a minute late, it might as well be an hour!

http://fromtheflightdeck.com/Long%20Island/2005Airshow/IMG_7721.jpg

Have the right equipment....THIS IS ESENTIAL!
http://fromtheflightdeck.com/Long%20Island/2005Airshow/IMG_7740.jpg

Let everyone know where you stand that you are here for business!!
!
http://fromtheflightdeck.com/Long%20Island/2005Airshow/IMG_9145.jpg

Shoot like you have jumper cables running to your car!

http://fromtheflightdeck.com/Long%20Island/2005Airshow/IMG_9112.jpg

NEVER GET DISTRACTED!!!!
http://fromtheflightdeck.com/temp/nycaviation/airshow/IMG_8838.jpg
Well..... at least not that often!

That bull**** of figuring out you speed by focal length sucks....If you are shooting aircraft that are really fast with lets say.....300MM, shoot at 800 if you want to take a chance in screwing up all your photos, 1000 if you are really smooth, 1600 if you had coffee and 2000 if your hands are trembling.

http://fromtheflightdeck.com/Long%20Island/2005Airshow/IMG_7895.jpg

Always try to get a night shot of the aircraft
http://fromtheflightdeck.com/Long%20Island/2005Airshow/IMG_7662.jpg

When you get tired of the same old shots....Have someone else who has also achieved greatness (In this case Tom Alfano) and shoot together. Then, you start to achieve stereo greatness by take stereo images of the same object at a single point in time so you can later use them with shutter glasses on you computer and make real 3d images in High resolution. Sure you can mount two Digital Rebels next to each other and use a wireless remote to set them off, but what is the fun in that?

Here is Tom's Left Eye Image
http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=484692

And my Right Eye Image
http://fromtheflightdeck.com/temp/nycaviation/airshow/Fredscamera.jpg
bolth images combined into one image
http://fromtheflightdeck.com/temp/nycaviation/airshow/origional2.jpg

The differences in these images you see are corrected in a program that Tom has been working on for the past 34 years......It is now going to be sold for $42,248 U.S. Dollars and will give you the ability to make real 3D images for a slideshow of your favorite images 3-D in an IMAX facility near you. Remember, this is a once in a lifetime offer that is only available to Jetphotos.net.

Being distracted is very bad…… There are better ways to take pictures of CHICKS. Like from a Cessna flying over a nude beach……. But still I seem to….well….

Tom and I got really bored, We made a big sign up that says "WE LOVE THE BLUE ANGELS" so we could try to get a close up photograph of the reaction the pilot gave us on the flyby! FUN!

If you are serious about your picturesand need to improve
your hitrate on your photos in the database,

Get into the hangar with the airshow aircraft and put some sugar in the fuel
tank.

That show was a great time! and in true Fred fashion he dragged me up at 5 in the morning to make sure we got the best spot. I think I've covered all hours of the day taking pictures with Fred at some point. Perhaps the hours of 2am to 5am haven't been covered yet. Don't get any ideas Fred!!!! lol

HEHEHE I love it. What we have here is a spat about Airliners.net and
Jetphotos.net.

I am not sure if you are aware bluejuice that your son has an
Airliners.net logo type of angle on that 747 and many photographers do
not care much for airliners.net because you practically have to have a
picture of a plane crashing to get it into the database. I think that is were
the tattoo comment lies. (Or at least how I understood it).

PPL is a great thing, congrats to him and hope to see him around while
flying with my friend's. If he wants to fly with Jetblue, why the 747?
Favorite plane? Anyway UrbanExplorer, I am usually the one with the
tongue and cheek humor. I thought he was an airliners.net fan that
broke his camera.....seriously. I wish him well -Derf

i know he did a horrible job. But i cant see it, so eh who cares. Yes i want to fly for jet blue, but the 747 is my all time favorite plane, besides the P-51.

I really love airplanes and all, but if I was going to get a tattoo....it would
probably be women's breasts on my chest or something weird like that! ;)
I wish you the best with Jetblue....

NOW CAN ANYONE SEND ME THE ACDC For Those About To Rock song so
I can finish the Video???? ;)

Tom had just showed me a picture he took of a hot girl and I turned
around to see her putting down the BABY OIL!!!! Yes, she is lubed up in
that shot! I just grabbed my 300MM with the 1.6 crop =480 + the 2X
converter =960MM!!!! Sorry about running on there, I guess I should
have just said thanks Nick!
