Nice shots Mike,
I tired to get down there for it but the damned weekend vacationing sheep clogged the roadways due to a bad accident. So I gave up and went back home.

Those new colors sure look better than ones I shot a few months ago. I'm sure everyone would agree.

Definite improvement over the original scheme, glad they changed it. I think they have the best business model out of the three up and coming business class pond hoppers.

Thanks Tom/Senga. The scheduled flight arrives JFK 130pm daily starting Wed. so they'll be plenty of chances to get this one....

Thanks Nick! I didn't think it would with all those A380 shots recently uploaded. Those things are generating tons of hits.

Damn, everytime McLaughlin makes top of the day, A.net goes down for hours... haha...

Seriously though, Mike, this is your YEAR. One awesome shot after another.....

- and thank goodness those dreadful white A380s in overcast weather have toppled. - at least for now. :)

HA! That'd be great... think I'll only have a lock on the local cessnas and bell jetrangers for sure though..

Been doing some Maritime photography though recently..something to do when weather is too iffy to drive to the airport.

LOL Mike... yeah it looks that way. :)

I wondered what the heck happened to the way ships used to look when I first saw those a few years back. Turns out they're the new design for Car Carriers. I believe they come from Asia mostly, and some from Europe. We get about 1 or 2 day in New York. They dock in New Jersey and seems like a bunch of guys get a few hours work driving the cars off the ramps of the ship and into those massive parking lots near the waterfront by EWR. (I wonder if any cars ever "fall off the back of the ship" -- figuritively speaking..).

Buses bring the guys back for a quick turn-around the ship is out the next day.
