Have they started revenue service yet, or was this perhaps a delivery/proving flight?

I'm assuming delivery/positioning. Haven't heard of actual start of rev service yet.

Sweet looking bird! :D

Is the B757 sitting near Terminal 5 or at the tarmac for Terminal 4? Or some where totally different like near the United hangars?

I am going down on Sunday to pick up my grandmother from Jet Blue and I will deffitenly keep an eye out!

It's parked at a hardstand on T4 ramp. You could probably see (spot) it from the customs/halmar. That is, if it's still there.

WOW. For a long time everyone thought that the airline wasn't really going to happen. They thought it was a joke. Can't believe it's really there.

You know, NYCAviation was one of the ONLY site, except for the actual EOS site, to even mention the coming of the airline.

But because I heard nothing new about it and no one else had it, I took it down from the news page. Oh well.

I heard they are doing their proofing runs. I am not so sure how long they will last, 757 with PW engines are not the best for ETOPS and the all business seat flying to Milan don't make too much sense to me. Eurofly have a A319CJ equip with 48 cocoon seat that will start the same route in the next few month.

They are doing (or plan to) JFK-London/Stanted, not sure where you got Milan?

I heard Milan was one of the destinations, I may be wrong.

Ok, keep us informed. From what I hear so far and according to their website it's JFK-STN. But hey, they haven't even started service yet so no one really knows for sure I guess.

Ok guys, it looks like it's doing a proving run today. Currently "boarding". Should be departing JFK soon however I cannot confirm.

At least it's finally ready to fly and no longer parked at the hardstand...
