Algerian air force IL 76 @ JFK

anybody catch the Algerian air force IL-76 freighter at JFK today?
I think they parked it up by Fed-Ex or the old Lufthansa (now KLM)
bldg...approx 2PM...

I cought it at Stewart (SWF) this afternoon while waiting for the Thai MD-11 which didn't show :-(

Saw it at JFK yesterday (Sunday) while hanging out at Airplane Field. What a suprise to see it there, and it sure sounded great departing 13L.

Art, Tom, Andy, Mike P, and myself stopped off at the bridge when it lined up for takeoff on 13l.

As for the landing we went over to the Mounds area, but in came in to low for a good shot.
