Hey guys, anyone here ever jumped off a plane from Shydive Long Island?

Just saw some video about it, was wondering what A/c they used.

Actually, I might end up doing it next spring.

Perhaps we can have a spotting outing on the island, kicked off with Skydiving out at old Calverton Airport?! :)

mario i think it's either a C206 or C207. can't remember, saw it flying around once.

last time i jumped out of an airpane it was a C-130.

There's no reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane :D

I read in Newsday a while back their safety record wasn't the greatest, but I'd love to go skydiving one day.

Hey Tommy, then you're in?

some folks in my family just did it, checked out there safety and really recommend it.

BTW, how are the new digs in Melville?

Being on a plane is scary as is...
Although I think I would be more comfortable jumping out of one than being in one.

they fly both a Cessena 208 Grand Caravan and a Cessena 207 turbo. one of these days im gunna gather enough courage to go up in one of 'em.

tommy, while there is no raeson to jump out of a perfectly good airplane when you get a swift kick in the ass it's motivation enough.

i've done LI sky dive a few times already... have my lisence too. done it a few times with a few people from work. i just love seeing the ones who talk loads of smack chickening out at the last minute and needing to be forced out by their instructor.
