If I manage to miss this one, there's no hope for me whatsoever. :)

I'll see you guys out there!

you'll only miss it if Qantas swap it in LA for the flight that is operating QF 149 arriving about 1.5hrs earlier.

What time will she be arriving and departing? Something told me I should have taken my camera with me to work.

Well, Wunala Dreaming visited JFK this afternoon. It arrived around 5:30p.m. local time on 22L. I was out at the Mounds with Brian Futterman, Eric Dunetz and Matt Smith, and we all got some nice pics. We tried to shoot it departing on 13R around 8:00p.m., but there was poor visibility and no sunlight.

Thanks, Monty, for giving us the heads up.

I have seen Wunala come into Jfk three times this year and even though the weather conditions were not ideal, this was the best yet.

Josh,Brian,Matt and myself were all setup to shoot the approach on 13R when Qf107 was cleared to 22L. We made it from the park in Howard Beach to the mounds with just seconds to spare. As we pulled up to the mounds QF107 was being to cleared to land.

thanks for the info Monty,

However this time of year when Qantas comes in it is Dark, unless it comes in about 20-30 minutes early. Wunala was here last Friday and it was to dark to get any good shots.

That's why I dont feel bad about not being able to go spotting this afternoon. I'll be flying out of LGA around 4pm on my way to lovely ABQ.
