Hey guys, I was driving in the fog this AM, along Pinelawn Rd and saw something some of you might like.
A white Sanyo Blimp with Red letters.

Also, there's a new addition to the Air Power Museum in FRG. Parked near the Thunderchief is either a Tornado or F111, I was driving too fast to clarify. Perhaps Derf can clarify?

That's an F-111, been there about a month or so now. I haven't gotten up close yet, but it seems to be fairly complete, although I think the cockpit windows are covered, so I'm not sure about the interior. It arrived here about the same time (maybe on the same truck) as the A-6 they just got at the Grumman Air Park in Calverton.

It's a pretty nice blimp. Tom got excited the other day at Bayswater when we saw it pass us.

Moose, great avatar!

I have interior shots of the F-111, I will have to try and find those shots. The A-6 shots I have from Calverton is here

I actually have MANY shots of them building the Thunderchief and a few shots of the F-111. The interior shots of the F-111 were nice because they will not let people see inside. ;)

More blimps!

"Have you Met Life lately?"

the SNOOPY blimp was moored at FRG this AM. If the fog evert lifts, one can catch a glimpse!

Nice shots. I don't know much about blimps, but the old MetLife blimps used to be bigger, Goodyear-size contraptions, weren't they?
