My favorite place is the Grumman Memorial Park in Calverton on RT 25.
Truly an awesome place!

ah! a ghost! thats really cool. very nice pics. I hope they can get a chnce to do some somre stuff with the A6, but i know they need a heck of alot more funidng for a lighitng system, landscaping, etc. I love what they did with the parking lot, painting "GRUMMAN" just like the runway.

As long as we're on the topic of captured MiGs, the Israeli AF museum at Hazerim (great place - 40+ on display, 80+ intact and stored [F-4s/A-4s/Kfirs/Fougas], and a boneyard) has a handful of MiGs that have been flown into Israel by defecting pilots. There are also the twisted, burnt frames of a couple of aircraft that have had encounters with Israeli missiles!

And, as long as we're talking about preserved frames reading 'N.Y. Air Guard,' don't forget about the F-84 sitting at the entrance to HPN.

I know this is mostly a Long Island-based group, but do any of you know of any preserved frames in New Jersey? Offhand, the only ones that I can think of are the 4 or 5 at the Museum at Teterboro.
