I have quite a few.

Of all time? I'd have to say The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

It's a tie between The Silence of the Lambs and Gangs of New York.

Lost in Translation or Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

if you've been to Tokyo you can relate to Lost in Translation, just love that film and can watch it all day!

another recent release worth seeing is Downfall, the story of the last days of the 3rd Reich and the downfall of that meglomaniac Hitler. looks like a marvellous film.

Favorites of all time?

Probably GoodFellas and Once Upon a Time in America (directors cut only).

Comedy: The Gods Must be Crazy

Shameful Junk: Destroy All Monsters, Enter the Dragon

Aviation: Passenger 57 - can't beat Wesley Snipes and opponent in a 20 minute Bruce Lee style conflict on board a Tri-Star.

Fate is The Hunter (a real oldie there)

Tom

edit: America - not NY..

Manhunter (Josh, u would love this, Dr Lector, Jack Walsh first roll)

Was Red Dragon the re-make of this movie? Red Dragon was a great movie, but not as good as Silence of the Lambs. I've never seen Manhunter but probably should.

Wall Street

Another fantastic movie.

and no one mentioned......Airport !!!!! :)

I got the box set a while back, and while the original Airport was simply an amazing movie, it was sad to watch the next three gradually decrease in quality to the point where you have the Concorde comically outmanuevering a fighter jet.

Josh.

Manhunter is the first, (around 1985) then Silence of the Lambs, last Red Dragon.

A bit different story, its great! I copied it from AMC about 2 months ago!

True, the Airport series gets worse with time....but I do like Airport 75 alot too! ( And Art is just wild about Karen Black!)

Mike :)

And "Hannibal" is in there somewhere. That's the one with Julianne Moore playing Clarice Starling, so that one I think comes after Silence of the Lambs.

Actually, I think Red Dragon is a prequel to Silence of the Lambs, even though it was released afterwards. The dead giveaway is the very last line of the movie, when Lecter is in his cell, and the attendant says "There's a woman from the FBI here to see you." and Lecter says to send her in. That's supposed to be the tie-in to the beginning of Silence of the Lambs, as the "woman" is clearly Clarice Starling making her first visit to Lecter.

Whether Red Dragon is a remake of Manhunter, or is a separate story, I don't know, because I never actually read the "Manhunter" book, which did in fact come before Silence of the Lambs.

All that aside, I gotta go rent Manhunter now. :)

I think u will liike it, lots!

Hannibal is in, yet he is not the star, just like -S of the Lambs.

No Clarice to be found, stars a guy...
Ho, and the name of the Doc at the nuthouse is the same too!
