Yankees Pitcher Corey Lidle Crashes Plane Into City Building

A small plane flown by New York Yankees pitcher Corey Lidle crashed into a 50-story apartment building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan at around 2:40pm today, killing both on board the plane.

Two aircraft clipped wings while in-line for departure at LA Guardia Airport on Friday night. Air Canada Flight 723 to Toronto, and Shuttle America (Delta Connection) Flight 6461, on its way to Chicago, clipped wings while taxiing to runway 13.
