All airports are OPEN. Read below for details.

LGA

LaGuardia Airport is open but airlines will be operating a reduced schedule. Check with your airline to verify your flight’s status.

JFK

JFK is open. Airlines are providing limited service. If you’re scheduled to fly, check with your airline to be sure your flight is operating.

JFK AirTrain is stopping only at Jamaica, Federal Circle and Howard Beach. Shuttle buses at Federal Circle will transport you to or from the airline terminals.

EWR

Newark Liberty Airport is open. Airlines will be providing limited service. If you’re scheduled to fly, check with your airline to be sure your flight is operating.

Due to a power outage, the on-airport gas station and all rental car facilities except for Avis will remain closed until further notice.

AIRLINES

  • JetBlue Airways:
  • Boston Logan (BOS) and Hartford-Bradley (BDL): 90% return to normal operations pm Wednesday.
    Washington D.C. area airports (BWI, DCA, IAD): Accepting some flights Wednesday.
    JFK: Phased return to service, arrivals only on Wednesday.
    Newburgh (SWF): Should be able to take arrivals as soon as Wednesday afternoon.
    Newark (EWR) and Westchester County (HPN): Thursday.
    LaGuardia (LGA): All JetBlue flights scheduled for LaGuardia on Thursday 11/1 will operate in/out of JFK instead.

  • United Airlines

  • Delta Air Lines: Delta resumed service at JFK on Wednesday with a 50 percent schedule, and anticipates restarting service at LaGuardia airport Thursday morning and operating more than 50 percent of its usual schedule.
  • Southwest Airlines
  • Virgin America

  • US Airways
  • WestJet
  • Air Canada
  • British Airways
  • Air France: All Washington, Boston, and New York area Air France operated flights are scheduled to operate today. These flights include AF055, AF333, AF007, AF023, AF011, and AF009.
  • KLM
  • Aer Lingus
  • Korean Air
  • Cathay Pacific
  • Virgin Atlantic

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

  • New York City subways begin operating a limited schedule Thursday morning at 6am. See map and service notice for details [pdf]
  • Long Island Rail Road and Metro North Railroad began running limited service on Wednesday

  • New York City buses are running a near normal schedule
  • PATH is shut down for at least 7-10 days/li>
  • Amtrak: All Northeast Corridor service cancelled until further notice
  • Greyhound will resume service in and out of New York Port Authority Bus Terminal on Thursday morning.
  • New Jersey Transit trains are shut down until further notice

    Due to travel to NJ this weekend. Should I bother or give it a rest. Specially paid for it and book time off work. Meant to stay near Newark airport. What the damage around there

      It’s bad. I would try to contact your hotel/airline to see if you can rebook due to the circumstances. I live in NYC and its not as bad as jersey and I’d still tell people to rebook. Jersey is a disaster zone.
