Delta Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Syracuse

A Delta Air Lines flight from Detroit to Hartford made an emergency landing in Syracuse on Wednesday reportedly after an engine failed, the Associated Press first reported.

Flight 1430, a McDonnell-Douglas MD-88 aircraft, landed safely at Syracuse Hancock International Airport just before noon.

A recovery flight to Hartford was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
