Delta Air Lines announced Friday plans to step up service to Paris and Amsterdam in 2013 from a number of US cities. Here’s the rundown:

Schedule:
Flight 610 | Departs EWR at 6:50 p.m. | Arrives CDG at 8:35 a.m.
Flight 609 | Departs CDG at 1:30 p.m. | Arrives EWR at 3:50 p.m.

Schedule:
Flight 98 | Departs DTW at 5:55 p.m. | Arrives CDG at 8:00 a.m.
Flight 99 | Departs CDG at 10:40 a.m. | Arrives DTW at 1:35 p.m.
UPGRADE: All flights to Paris from Newark, JFK, Cincinnati and Seattle will feature full-flat bed seats in BusinessElite.
These planes already had Economy Comfort, and in early 2013, Delta will begin rolling out in-flight wifi on international flights.
With Air France condensing its operations at Charles de Gaulle Airport to Terminals 2E, 2F and 2G this month, connections between Delta’s gates in 2E and Air France European flights will be quicker.
“Strengthening our network while improving our customer experience both at the airport and on board is key to our strategy. In our Paris hub, Air France and Delta customers will enjoy shorter transitions between the gates and concourses as we consolidate our airport operations,” said Bruno Matheu, Executive Vice President Marketing, Revenue Management and Network Air France-KLM and Chief Commercial Officer Air France.
“These service enhancements will bolster our presence in the Paris hub while strengthening our industry-leading joint venture with Air France-KLM,” said Glen Hauenstein, Delta’s executive vice president – Network Planning, Revenue Management and Marketing. “This expansion will have little effect on overall trans-Atlantic capacity discipline as Delta continues to reallocate seats into high-demand business travel markets.”
There had been speculation that Delta would fly Newark-Paris after Air France dropped the route in March 2012.
