An Eclipse of Eclipse Jets Visit Branson

“This must be the largest collection of jets comprising one model ever to land on a field at the same time, to see so many Eclipse Jets in one large formation in such a wonderful setting really is incredible,” said Mason Holland, Eclipse CEO.
We’ll try to verify that claim, but in the meantime we’ll just enjoy seeing so many of one plane in one place. For reference, that’s almost 1/6th of all the Eclipses ever delivered.
Eclipse, whose six-seat 500 Jet burst onto the Very Light Jet scene in the mid-aughts, faced ruin in 2008 just two years after delivering their first aircraft when the market for all jets collapsed in the midst of the global economic crisis. They haven’t built a single plane since, but an updated version called the Eclipse 550 is expected to start rolling down the assembly line in 2013.
