You’ve already read a million opinions on this so I’ll keep mine brief.

Does Mitt Romney really not know why plane windows in his wife’s business jet don’t roll down the way they do in her Cadillacs?

Even the most cynical political observer (i.e.: me) would like to think that a highly-educated businessman who has flown as much as Mr. Romney possesses at least a cursory knowledge of how passenger jets are able to fly.

With only one reporter’s quote and no video or audio of Romney’s remarks, it’s impossible to know the context of what he said and how he said it. I really want to believe that he was joking. After all, Mitt is not a guy known for his sense of humor, but that doesn’t stop him from trying on occasion. Clumsily.
