Earthquake Strikes Just Outside Dallas/Fort Worth Airport

A minor 3.4 magnitude earthquake that rattled homes and nerves in central Texas Saturday night was centered just 3.4 miles southeast of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and 5 miles west of Dallas Love Field.

The tremor struck at 11:05 pm local time, during a relatively quiet period at the airport.

While there were numerous reports of shaking, no damage was immediately spotted at the airport nor anywhere else in the affected area.
