Delta has a deal for travelers flying out of New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

Book a round trip to one of 29 Delta destinations out of LaGuardia and you’ll get a $25 Amex gift card.

Be advised that you’ll need to receive and email from Delta to take advantage of this deal. We don’t know what the targeting parameters are, but you may want to check your spam folder…or your trash in case you accidentally deleted it.

Here’s a link to Delta’s promotion page. You can try registering with your SkyMiles number, but if you didn’t get the email, it probably won’t work.

If you did get it, keep in mind before booking that Delta fares to any particular destination do vary between flights out of JFK, Newark and LaGuardia, often enough to make a $25 gift card a moot point.

So why doesn’t Delta just lower fares by $25 or issue a $25-off coupon? The answer may lie in the fine print, where you learn that Amex will fulfill the gift cards by mail after the promotion ends on November 30. It’s possible this is the fruit of a marketing deal between Delta and Amex.

You must register for the promotion by November 15th and travel between today, August 27th and November 30th.

Here are the eligible destinations:

  • Bangor (BGR)
  • Burlington (BTV)
  • Charlotte (CLT)
