The first A380 for Thai Airways rolled out of the Airbus paint hangar following completion of painting and cabin installation in Hamburg, the manufacturer revealed Monday.
Nicknamed Sri Rattana in honor of a Buddhist temple in Thailand, the A380 (HS-TUA, line number 0087) is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of 2012. Thai will become the ninth A380 operator.
The photos come just a day after the A380 Production blog confirmed that the convoy of major parts for the first British Airways A380 is set to make its way to the factory in Toulouse, France, on June 27th.
