A cargo handler wearing a stolen watch was arrested in New York on Wednesday, charged with stealing from care packages on their way to US troops overseas.
Terrance Ralph, an employee of a cargo shipping firm at JFK International Airport, allegedly rifled through parcels and stole electronics, a bracelet, and an Invicta watch, which was on his wrist at the time of his arrest, according to postal inspectors.
The Postal Inspection Service launched an investigation after soldiers stationed in Germany reported several packages had been rifled through. Undercover surveillance tactics were used to track the activity back to Ralph, according to CBS New York.
