A new codeshare agreement with Japan Airlines will allow JetBlue customers to book flights on the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and Japan Airlines customers to connect to over a dozen US cities on JetBlue.
Japan Airlines places its first 787 Dreamliner into service this Sunday, April 22, on a new route between Tokyo Narita and Boston Logan, marking the only nonstop link between Asia and New England.
“In addition to our New York and Los Angeles offerings, customers in New England can now conveniently connect in Boston, where we are the largest airline, for direct service to Asia just in time for summer,” said Scott Laurence, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and partnerships, in a statement. “Japan Airline’s partnership with JetBlue will introduce a new stream of travelers to our airline’s brand, our people, and our award-winning service.”
The new codeshare deal expands upon the existing interline deal between the two airlines which began this past February at New York-JFK, Boston and Los Angeles.
Through Tokyo, passengers will be able to connect to and from most of Asia’s major cities, including:

Passengers will be able to easily transfer between JetBlue and Japan Airlines flights through Boston for 13 US cities:
