The first Airbus A380 destined for Thai Airways made its maiden test flight last week.
Following the completion of assembly at the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France, the unpainted superjumbo took a leisurely four hour flight to Hamburg, Germany last Monday. There, its interior will be installed, and later, the exterior will be painted before delivery in the third quarter of 2012.
Thai has six A380s on order, which it plans to operate between its Bangkok hub and destinations in Europe.
