• Boeing is once again inspecting the 787 fleet for problems with its composite skin. This time the skin is delaminating in the rear of the fuselage near where the horizontal stabilizer is attached. [Flightglobal]

• A number of factors, including the Japan quake and the failure of Mexicana, mean Los Angeles International Airport is not seeing the same boost in international travel that other US airports have seen. [LA Times]

• United Airlines is planning some significant upgrades for Terminal 2 at Chicago O’Hare, including construction of jetbridges for its regional planes and a new United Club. [Chicago Tribune]
