As part of a larger partnership announced today, Hawaiian Airlines will use JetBlue’s JFK Terminal 5 when they launch service to New York from Honolulu on June 4.

In an effort to connect more east coast cities to Hawaii, the cornerstone of the deal is a codeshare. The airlines will market each others flights reciprocally, with JetBlue customers able to book flights to Hawaii through JetBlue.com, and Hawaiian customers able to book JetBlue flights via HawaiianAirlines.com.

Customers of both airlines will be able to earn and redeem points on any flight operated by either carrier.

Hawaiian’s schedule will be ideal for connections to and from Boston, Buffalo, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Raleigh/Durham, says JetBlue.

Hawaiian becomes JetBlue’s 15th partner airline, and the first to co-locate at JetBlue’s JFK hub. JetBlue is Hawaiian’s eighth airline partner.
