A week after US Airways flights were temporarily halted by a computer outage, United Airlines service was at least partially shut down Friday night due to a glitch “interrupting departures, airport processing and reservations,” according to the Chicago-based carrier.

Some flights were getting out, but passengers were only able to get on planes if they had printed out their boarding passes at home.

There was no word on when full service might be restored, nor what caused the glitch.
