Passengers Mutiny After 7 Hours Stranded on Middle East Airlines Jet

Passengers on a Middle East Airlines flight bound for Beirut began to scuffle with crewmembers when the plane got stuck on the ground at London’s Heathrow Airport for several hours.

The flight was scheduled for a 1:00pm departure, but was delayed until 7:30pm due to bad weather. According to reports, passengers began snatching food from the galleys and a shoving match erupted between some passengers and crewmembers. Police finally boarded the plane, but no arrests were made.
