One Person Killed, 10 Injured as Bus Hits Car in JFK Airport Parking Lot

One person was killed and 10 injured Wednesday night when a city bus hit a car at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport, according to early reports on Twitter.

The fatality occurred in the car, as did two serious injuries. Nine people on the bus suffered minor injuries.

The bus was operated by MTA-New York City Transit. There was no immediate word on the cause of the accident, but there was heavy rain falling in the area at the time.
