An American Airlines flight from Miami to San Francisco made an emergency at McCarran Las Vegas International Airport Friday afternoon after the pilot reported smoke in the cockpit.

American Airlines Flight 431, a Boeing 757, was over southern Utah when it turned to the southwest and landed in Las Vegas. There were no reported injuries.
The flight was scheduled to land in San Francisco at 11:34 AM PT, but touched down in Las Vegas at 11:10 AM.
