France’s aviation regulatory authority, the BEA, has released these photos of the newly found wreckage of Air France Flight 447 at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Robotic submarines have located these pieces, along with the bodies of several victims, during a new effort to locate the Airbus A330-200’s voice and data recorders. Investigators plan to hoist these pieces to the surface.
