Closed circuit video has been released showing the August crash of a Cirrus SR-22 (N146CK) in Phoenix which killed the pilot.

The plane had just taken off from Phoenix Deer Valley Airport when the pilot radioed the tower saying he needed to turn back to “close the door.” No further transmissions were heard.

He crashed into the parking lot of a nearby business and the plane burst into flames.

NTSB investigators are still attempting to determine the cause.
