Two people were slightly injured on Thursday when their small plane crash-landed in a field in central Texas, federal authorities said.
The accident happened just before 11 a.m. local time in Cleburne, a city in Johnson County and a suburb of Fort Worth, when the Aerostar 601P aircraft (N601AT) made a “controlled landing” in a plowed field.
Lynn Lunsford, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), said the two occupants on board received minor injuries.
Federal records showed the 1976-build aircraft was registered to Aeropremiere, LLC out of Alvarado.
