Rwanda’s national carrier, RwandAir, has ordered two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The new planes will be fitted with Boeing’s new 787-inspired Sky Interior and will enter service in 2011.

Last month, RwandAir entered an agreement to lease two 737-500 aircraft from GECAS, to be delivered this summer.

RwandAir currently operates two Bombardier CRJ-200s and a single Dash 8-100 out of their base in Kigali, the Rwandan capital.
