Update: The flight has been confirmed as Flight 206 to Canton. AirTran says it will be accommodating passengers on later flights, however it should be noted they do not have any more flights scheduled for this evening. Hopefully they have an extra plane somewhere to get these folks home in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Runway 13 was closed for awhile but has reopened.

  • You mean “accommodating” passengers, not unaccommodating them, right? I cannot imagine that AirTran is that bad.

Rough night for everyone at LGA thanks to the runway closure, I’m sure.

Thanks be to God. My son was on that flight. Airtran really treated the passengers well and they got home Thursday morning safe and sound. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
