Allegiant Air Announces GRR-FLL to Begin November 13

Allegiant Air announced today that they will commence twice-weekly flights from Grand Rapids, Michigan (GRR) to Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL) on September 15th with their 150-seat MD-80 aircraft under the following schedule:

DEP FLL 15:10 – ARR GRR 18:05
DEP GRR 18:45 – ARR FLL 21:50
(all times are local)

Allegiant’s President and CEO Maurice J. Gallagher commented “We are extremely pleased to again expand the Allegiant brand of low-fare, nonstop jet service in the West Michigan communities…This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only nonstop, air service between West Michigan and South Florida.”

Fares will be set at an introductory price of $79.99 each way if purchased by Oct. 7, 2009 for travel before Feb. 10, 2010 (read press release for more details).
