According to government filings, Bolivia’s AeroSur will resume their 1x weekly New York (JFK)-Havana (HAV) scheduled charter service on August 2nd. The Sunday flights, AeroSur 6401 will be operated by the airline’s sole Boeing 767-200ER, departing JFK at 3:30PM local. Service was previously run by a 727-200.

As with all US-Cuba flights, travel is generally limited to those who have close family remaining in Cuba, per Department of State regulations.

September 13th is currently the last day on the schedule, but an extension is possible.

Thanks to NYCA forum member MayerFM for the tip!

Let’s keep our fingers crossed for an equipment sub from the 747-300, seen below!
