WASHINGTON, D.C. – MAXjet Airways, Inc. announced Tuesday, November 1, 2005 as the start of exclusively business-class service between New York JFK and London Stansted. The first daily flights will operate out of Kennedy’s Terminal 1, with a departure to Stansted at 6:30PM and a return flight arriving at 1:30PM. The current fleet of 767-200ERs, apparently rebranded with a new color scheme since their last sighting, will be configured with 102 60″-pitch seats for the trans-Atlantic flights. MAXjet also plans to add 757-200 aircraft with 72 luxury seats at a later date.
